Tatev ~ With Wings ~ is a charismatic and electric songster, a film composer and performer whose original music and voice feel right at home in rock, jazz, soul, Armenian folk, classical and pop. Tatev is a multidisciplinary arts entrepreneur, pianist, music producer, an educator and a translator who was born in Armenia in 1987. She has lived most of her life in New York City after immigrating to the U.S.A. with her family in 2003 where she earned her BA degree in Jazz Studies and Classical Performance.
Tatev has recently made a bold move by repatriating to Armenia and lives in Yerevan where she is the Artistic Programs Manager and the Head of the Artistic Team at the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
Tatev speaks four languages and her professional experience includes work at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, leading Song Writing and Recording workshops at TUMO in Yerevan and over fifteen years of live performances throughout the U.S. and abroad in numerous collaborations and performances with artists such as Paquito D’Rivera, Tigran Hamasyan, her long time collaborators, Kate Victor, Campblicated, her sister, Lucy Yeghiazaryan, Grammy-nominated, Arto Tunçboyacian and many others.
Tatev’s musical influences, belief in the universality of sound, inspirations from fables, languages, enlightened peoples around the world and connections to Mother Nature, weave a rich and genre-fluid career path.
Sustainable paths in harmony with Mother Nature and raised levels of consciousness are accessed through the Arts and Sciences, and not politics, religions or banks
