Almost two years after returning from New York City to Armenia, Tatev with Wings presents her first solo concert in Yerevan! The program includes Tatev’s multi-genre original works, born from her love for classical, jazz and Armenian music; inspired by Mother Nature, the stories of people living in different parts of the world, and Tatev’s broad and enlightened worldview. In the intimate atmosphere of the Black Box stage of the Sundukyan Theatre, Your presence and participation in the music-making will play an integral role in fostering unity across diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Forum of Armenian Arts And Culture

The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, in partnership with the International Coordinating Council for Armenian Culture and Arts, will host the Forum of Armenian Arts and Culture on November 20–21, 2025.

The Forum will bring together 250 cultural professionals from Armenian communities worldwide for two days of dialogue, exchange, and creative collaboration.

Its goal is to strengthen cultural cooperation between Armenia and the Diaspora, expand the visibility of Armenian artists, engage Diaspora experts in shaping and advancing cultural policy, and, above all, showcase Armenian arts and culture on the global stage.

The two-day program will feature a wide range of activities, including panel discussions, thematic workshops and seminars, exhibitions, and cultural events.

The Forum will serve as a unique platform for participants to build professional connections, establish new partnerships, and discover fresh opportunities for collaboration.

Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and above, including artists, representatives of cultural institutions, multimedia specialists, media and cultural policy experts, analysts, and members of the diplomatic corps from both Armenia and the Diaspora.

Armenian National Youth Forum 2025 – Echoes of Armenia: Our Traditional Instruments

On August 5, as part of the Armenian National Youth Forum 2025 first day with the theme “Shared Vision and Unified Efforts,” the music workshop titled “Echoes of Armenia: Our Traditional Instruments” was held.

Throughout the workshop, forum participants were introduced to the sounds of Armenian musical instruments, discovering their histories and cultural secrets.

Speakers at the workshop included: Alexandra Ohanian, qanon player, soloist with the Sassoun Orchestra of Marseille; Grigor Davtyan, percussion specialist; and wind instrument specialists Grigor Kartashyan and Erik Avagyan.

During the event, the musicians presented the history of Armenian musical instruments and demonstrated their intricacies through live performances.

The session was moderated by Tatev Yeghiazaryan, an iGorts program participant and Head of the Artistic Department of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.

The Keron Development Foundation, in collaboration with Yerevan Metro, launched the “Musical Metro” project on January 9, 2025, featuring weekly live music performances every Thursday at Yeritasardakan station. To enhance the urban atmosphere by bringing live music to unexpected public spaces and creating uplifting experiences for Yerevan’s residents and visitors, while integrating art into daily city life and supporting young talent by providing musicians with a platform to showcase their work to a broad and diverse audience.

YYsisters aim to preserve the traditional folk music of ancient peoples by bringing new perspectives and reverence to age old music. The scope of the group’s selection is extensive covering a large historical ground. The repertoire includes works by composers as diverse as Armenian 5th century historian Movses Khorenatsi to English medieval carols and early American music. The trio captures the listener with evocative, unique and modern arrangements while still being deeply rooted in oral traditional and early folk singing.
YYsisters members are Tatev Yeghiazaryan, Kate Victor and Lucy Yeghiazaryan.
